Home Repair Program
Habitat for Humanity offers home repairs with affordable financing to qualified homeowners. The homewoner must be a full time resident of the home. Mortgage and property taxes must be current. This program is not available to landlords, tenants, land contract holders or trailer home residents. For more information, see the Qualifications page.
Critcal Home Repairs
The Critical Home Repair program helps qualified homeowners with needed repairs that threaten their well-being, health and safety, and may include solutions to housing code violations. Habitat does not make emergency repairs.
Critical repairs may include, but are not limited to:
Weatherization makes your home more energy efficient, which can reduce your utility bills. You can save energy and money!
Following a thorough home inspection and evaluation, the weatherization process for your home may include:
- Replacing and/or enhancing insulation
- Cauking around windows and doors
- Sealing cracks and openings
- Upgrading/replacing furnace
- Installing energy efficient technology and safety equipment
A Brush with Kindness
A Brush with Kindness is an exterior home repair program for eligible homeowners. It offers services to preserve your home and make it safer, more secure, accessible, and attractive.
- Painting/Siding Repair
- Ramp building
- Exterior Light Fixture Repair/Replacement
- Porch Repair/Replacement
- Other minor repair services
